What made you decide to pursue your degree in WDOC?

I have always had a passion for design and this program really lets me expand my skills in a convenient, yet challenging way.

What has been the biggest thing you have learned in your classes?

Small adjustments in design make a big difference. If you don’t love something 100%, start small when it comes to changes–don’t just scrap the whole project. It’s called a design process for a reason.

What have you learned in your classes that you have already applied to your job?

I have created content for an internship I had over the summer using the programs and techniques I have learned in some of the WDOC classes.

What are your career aspirations?

I am currently an undergraduate student who is also taking courses through the combined degree program. So I haven’t narrowed it down completely, but my no.1 career aspiration is to do something within the design field that makes me happy.

What accomplishment are you the proudest of achieving?

Being the first woman in my immediate family to attend university.
