What made you decide to pursue your degree in WDOC?

As a producer/writer for television and video for the past 30 years, I have witnessed screen sizes expand and contract. So much of what I build now is designed for the screen in the palm of your hand. I was excited to delve into a deeper conversation backed by research.

What has been the biggest thing you have learned in your classes?

While initially intimidated about learning code, I recognize the value of my new knowledge as I lead international teams on creative endeavors.

What have you learned in your classes that you have already applied to your job?

My goodness! This list is very long. Foremost, I believe brushing up on current Mass Communication Theory as well as Digital Strategy has been tremendously beneficial.

What are your career aspirations?

As a communications veteran, I plan to continue to create awesome content with my creative team.

What accomplishment are you the proudest of achieving?

Being 100% honest, I remain most tickled that I passed the GRE to gain acceptance to the WDOC program!  As a long time communicator (and not a numbers person), I remain an example for other “mature” students that this program is possible and offers a powerful perspective shift.
