What made you decide to pursue your degree in WDOC?

I decided to pursue the WDOC program because technology and design have always been huge interests to me. It took a lot of thought, but I feel confident in my decision to join this program.

What has been the biggest thing you have learned in your classes?

Always get an outsider’s opinion. Whether it is with design or code, having someone look at your work to get a second opinion will help tremendously (and keep you sane).

What have you learned in your classes that you have already applied to your job?

Whenever my colleague designs a new logo, she always asks me for opinion! It feels nice knowing that I can help with that.

What are your career aspirations?

After researching career choices and seeing that user experience design has been on the rise, I knew that that is where I want to end up. Combining my degrees in Anthropology and Web Design will hopefully help me get there.

What accomplishment are you the proudest of achieving?

I’m most proud of having a portfolio website that I created on my own– designed and coded all by me!
